Brinda Joseph is a passionate and driven 22-year-old raised in Windsor and LaSalle. She is a recent Business Administration graduate of the University of Windsor, where she specialized in Marketing, International Business, and Finance. Brinda is very involved in the community and on-campus, believing that empowered communities begin with empowered women and youth. With a strong interest in leadership, advocacy, and community service, Brinda has always believed in using her education and experiences to uplift others and make a meaningful impact. With a strong interest in leadership, advocacy, and community service, Brinda has always believed in using her education and experiences to uplift others and make a meaningful impact.
During her time at the University of Windsor, she served as President of Enactus Windsor. Through Enactus initiatives, she led programs focused on financial literacy and sustainable entrepreneurship, teaching underprivileged youth how to manage finances and build eco-friendly businesses. Enactus has a wide range of projects driven by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ranging from stem-focused initiatives such as making biodegradable water filters from mushrooms to public service initiatives such as reducing opioid-related overdoses in Windsor-Essex by distributing Narcan kits and providing overdose response training. Witnessing the impact of these programs firsthand strengthened her desire to expand these initiatives across Windsor-Essex as Miss Windsor which is why she chose Enactus as her platform of choice. Brinda wants to continue with all the Enactus initiatives, especially giving underserved youth the knowledge to be financially literate, the opportunity to pursue entrepreneurship and make their own money, make valuable connections, while developing skills to boost their confidence, presentation abilities, and preparation for their future.

Beyond Enactus, Brinda continued to give back through a wide range of leadership and volunteer roles including Vice President of Marketing for ACE, a large business case competition, and Youreka, a club aimed at increasing STEM literacy and research opportunities for youth, and a Social Media Team Member for Her Campus, helping promote and support women on campus. She also acted as Director of Volunteer Management for Musicbox, promoting accessibility in artistic education for underprivileged children. She was also a Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) volunteer, leading her high schools Youth Troop CCS club in fundraising for a cure.
She currently works at WFCU, an organization dedicated to giving back and investing in the Windsor-Essex community, supporting VPs, the Board of Directors, and the CEO. She is also a Direct Support Provider where she provides tutoring, behavioral support, equipment handling, medication assistance, and money management, for children with autism.
Her passion for becoming Miss Windsor is deeply personal. From a young age, Brinda experienced colourism and was deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, a struggle that led to challenges with her mental health. Over time, she was able to overcome these experiences, build confidence, and embrace her identity. Today, she is passionate about using her voice to support youth across Windsor, helping them feel confident and enough exactly as they are.
In her free time, Brinda enjoys traveling, baking, reading, fashion, and being active outdoors. She has studied abroad in France, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Oxford, experiences that deepened her love for travel and her goal of participating in volunteering in these communities in the future.
With a strong interest in policy, mental & physical health, financial literacy, and advocacy, she hopes to one day represent Windsor on a bigger stage and continue giving back to the community that has given her so much.
