Sonny Borrelli – Executive Director

Sonny’s involvement in pageants began in 2002 but expanded in 2014 when he became the Miss Universe Canada Regional Director of Western Ontario and more recently in 2022 when he acquired the rights to Miss Windsor, Miss Tecumseh and Miss LaSalle. As the director, he over sees the entire production including recruiting and developing the beautiful and talented young delegates in Western Ontario.

Sonny graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He and his brother took over the family wine business Borrelli Cellars and have made it one of the most successful winemaking facilities in South Western Ontario.

At an early age, Sonny developed a passion for being on stage. He began hosting fashion shows, charity events, galas, and weddings. Since 1997, he has been the ring announcer for Border City Wrestling and Host of Raise your Voice singing competition. Although he maintains a busy work schedule, Sonny still regularly makes time for hosting endeavours and charity work.

Jillian Parent – Managing Director

A love for dance and being on stage, led Jillian to the world of pageantry in 2010. Since taking that first step in a meet and greet room for the Miss Tecumseh Pageant, she was hooked and has been involved in the industry for almost 12 years. Her resume includes competing in other local pageants and eventually winning the Miss Tecumseh title in 2014, a contestant and later trainer in the Miss Universe Canada Western Ontario pageant alongside Sonny Borrelli, and representing Canada at the 2016 Miss Galaxy International Pageant.

Jillian’s current title is one she holds dear as the Managing Director. As a primary teacher and future administrator, Jillian loves being involved in the community and helping her students fulfill their full potential in whatever direction they choose. She applies that same passion to all of her contestants. Each pageant season, she strives to inspire confidence, poise, grace, and philanthropy opportunities for all of the contestants, and that work continues beyond pageant day. Helping young ladies find a goal they want to achieve in life and try taking steps towards that goal through pageantry by creating a network of role models with positivity and growth development is Jillian’s mission. As a recent graduate of the Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership Program at Yorkville University, Jillian hopes to extend the welcoming and supportive hand that she gives to her students and to all the delegates within the Windsor Essex pageant community and beyond in order to continue the spirit of the pageant well into the future.
