Roserlie Cyriaque
Roserlie Cyriaque is a 19 year old Haitian American and recently a permanent resident of Canada. Roserlie is happy to be in her first year of accounting at St. Clair college as this was something she thought would not be possible. Although she will be in the business program for accounting, her true aspirations is real estate. Growing up in the foster care system, she was never sure if where she was would be forever, and having the opportunity to find not just a house but a home her clients could call there forever is her passion. No longer being afraid to have her voice be heard, Roserlie was proud to be the student council prime minister in her last year of high school. Because of Covid there weren’t many things the school was able to do, but not wanting to give up, with help she was able to to put together culture day which featured foods from around the world made by the teachers and the Black history month virtual assembly, which she was only given two and a half weeks to complete.
After competing in Miss Tecumseh, Roserlie found her love for community involvement, and living downtown has reminded her that anyone could use a helping hand. She has also just recently started to go to the gym, wanting to find a routine to keep her healthy and motivated, she utilizes the free facility at St.Clair College. Roserlie tends to find it ironic that she loves to write but has a disability in it. Her platform “Just listen” reminds people that those with learning disabilities are just like everyone else, it may just take them (me) a little longer. And with the title of Miss Windsor she will continue to do just that.
