At the age of six, Melrose was adopted by a strong Military parents, Melrose developed a deep understanding of resilience, dedication & loyalty. These foundational values have shaped her into the driven individual she is today—someone who is not only committed to achieving her personal goals but is also fiercely determined to make a meaningful, lasting impact within her community.

These foundations led Melrose to a life of purpose. Pursed a career in healthcare, where her passion meets action. After graduating from St. Clair College Personal Support Worker program, she entered the front lines of the Windsor community as a dedicated health care worker. She is currently pursuing a career as a flight attendant, where professionalism, teamwork, and leadership are essential. 

Melrose’s ambition, dedication, and perseverance lead her to her advocacy work, and commitment to be the voice for the youth who do not have voice to make a better future for our Windsor – Essex community. Having moved to Canada and learned English at the age of six, she understands firsthand the unique difficulties children face when integrating into a new culture. 

Recognizing that education is the ultimate equalizer, she has become a passionate advocate for increased funding for ESL programs in our public schools. She firmly believes that no child’s potential should ever be limited by a language barrier – because she herself is an immigrant child who once thought there would be no options in her life because of langauge and cultural difference. Melrose was guided correctly with faith, and dedicated to pushing for policies that ensure equal educational opportunities for all.

Above all, Melrose is a woman defined by her gratitude. She is thankful for every challenge that built her resilience, and her support throughout her journey. As a Miss Windsor delegate 2026, she carries the support of her family and community in her heart. Melrose is excited and ready to be a representative of Windsor with grace, purpose, and most importantly commitment to positive change.
