Ashley Dunn, at the age of 20, is a passionate and community-driven leader whose educational and personal journey reflects a deep commitment to service, advocacy, and empowerment. As a dedicated student of Advertising and Marketing Communications at St. Clair College, Ashley is blending creative strategy with purpose-driven work, aiming to inspire change and amplify voices through thoughtful, impactful communication.

Ashley’s platform, United Way, sits at the heart of her mission—a cause she is deeply connected to not just as an advocate, but as someone who has experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of their work. As a young student, Ashley benefited from the resources and support provided by United Way programs, witnessing how their initiatives uplift children and families in need. This personal experience ignited her passion to give back and fueled her determination to help ensure other children have access to the same opportunities and care she once received. She has worked tirelessly to raise awareness and critical funds for the organization, most notably organizing a successful fundraiser that generated over $1,500 to support local families. Whether speaking at events, participating in campaigns, or connecting with donors, Ashley brings authenticity and drive to every interaction—using her skills in marketing to spotlight the issues that matter most.

Beyond her work with United Way, Ashley remains actively engaged on campus through various initiatives that foster education, awareness, and community well-being. As a member of the Sexual Violence Prevention Committee, she contributes to awareness campaigns, distributes vital resources, and offers compassionate outreach to those seeking support. Her dedication to education is also reflected in her work as a tutor, where she provides academic support and mentorship to fellow students, empowering them to succeed.

Ashley’s passion for service extends further to her volunteer work at the Windsor Humane Society and the Canadian Cancer Society, where she participates in fundraising and outreach efforts that uplift both people and animals. These diverse experiences reflect her belief that strong, healthy communities are built through collaboration, empathy, and sustained effort.

As she continues her studies, Ashley is not simply preparing for a career—she is building a legacy of advocacy, leadership, and impact. With aspirations to work in politics and public service, she is determined to use her voice and her skills to champion causes that create meaningful, lasting change. Her journey is one marked by resilience, heart, and an unwavering commitment to lifting others up, both locally and beyond.
