Tehreem Janjua

Tehreem Janjua is a 19-year-old with a Pakistani South Asian background, who carries a heart full of ambition and a soul dedicated to service. As an undergraduate student at the University of Windsor majoring in Forensic Science and Human Biology, Tehreem is passionate about health, wellness, and compassionate care. She aspires to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), a career that allows her to serve her community by fostering confidence and well-being through the power of a smile. She is deeply committed to serving the city of Windsor, where she grew up, by actively connecting and contributing to the community from a place of understanding and involvement.

Her passion for community engagement and volunteerism is at the core of her identity. She dedicates her time to dental practices, shadowing professionals and learning the intricate art of patient care. Simultaneously, she volunteers within forensic research at her university, contributing to projects in forensic chemistry, taphonomy, and decomposition. Her drive extends beyond academics; as an employee and brand advocate for Suzy Shier – Le Chateau, she has worked her way from sales associate to management, embodying confidence, leadership, and self-expression. With the support of her sponsorship, showcasing their clothing brand on her new journey in pageantry, she aims to create visibility for companies like hers that advocate self-love inspiring other women to embrace their full potential.

Tehreem’s advocacy for her platform Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is deeply personal. Her family has battled serious health challenges, including her older sister’s chronic illness and her younger sister’s stage four cancer. Through these trying times, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) became their lifeline, providing her family with a place to stay, comfort, and unwavering support throughout her sister’s fight. From Windsor to London to Toronto, RMHC stood by them until her sister’s victorious moment of ringing the bell. This experience instilled in Tehreem a profound appreciation for organizations that work tirelessly to support families like hers keeping them close.

Now, as a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House within Windsor Regional Hospital, she gives back to the organization that once was her family’s lifeline. She combines her love for cooking and baking by assisting in the kitchen, believing that nourishing meals bring warmth and healing to those facing their toughest battles. Her involvement in the community extends beyond RMHC, as she continuously seeks ways to uplift others and give back to the city that has shaped her journey.

As a delegate for Miss Windsor-LaSalle 2025, Tehreem sees this platform as an opportunity to amplify her advocacy. If crowned, she aims to raise awareness for life-changing charities like RMHC while promoting brands like Suzy Shier Le Chateau, which champion self-confidence, empowerment, and embracing one’s individuality. She hopes to use her voice to celebrate the organizations that make Windsor, LaSalle, Tecumseh, and Essex vibrant and compassionate communities. With resilience, passion, and a heart dedicated to service, Tehreem Janjua is ready to make a lasting impact.
