Ryanne Westlake

Ryanne Westlake is a compassionate and driven 21-year-old who recently graduated from the Registered Practical Nursing program within St. Clair College (RPN) and is now a first-year Paramedic student, working tirelessly toward her dream of becoming a paramedic. Ryanne’s journey to this point has been marked by hard work and dedication, not just in her education but in her commitment to helping others. Known for her kindness and ability to connect with people, Ryanne was awarded “Miss Congeniality” at the Miss Tecumseh pageant last summer, a true reflection of her friendly nature and her genuine care for the community. Ryanne’s volunteer work speaks to her heart for service—she has been actively involved with Windsor Essex EMS during their parades and as a member of the St. Clair College Paramedic Club, making a difference wherever she can.

Beyond her career goals, Ryanne thrives in both physical and mental challenges. She plays softball and practices jiu-jitsu, demonstrating a relentless pursuit of discipline and perseverance. Her dedication to overcoming obstacles is a testament to her resilience, and she applies this same mindset to her work and personal life. Ryanne also works as a soccer coach through Little Kickers, where she helps create a positive and enjoyable environment for children while fostering their interest in the sport. Ryanne’s passion for mental health began seven years ago when she joined Jack.org in high school. Since then, she has become deeply invested in supporting mental health initiatives, which perfectly aligns with her desire to support organizations like Wounded Warriors Canada, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the mental well-being of our service members and first responders.

Ryanne’s love for connecting with the community and embracing new experiences at various events makes her an easy and genuine presence wherever she goes. Her proactive approach and care for others will undoubtedly make her an asset to any community event she participates in. Her readiness to face challenges head-on is a testament to her preparedness to represent the community proudly on stage.
