Mya Mulder

From Amherstburg, Ontario, Mya Mulder is a dedicated and hardworking individual currently attending St. Clair College, where she is pursuing her studies in the Occupational/Physiotherapy Assisting program. With plans to graduate this May, Mya is excited to begin her professional journey in healthcare, where she hopes to use her knowledge to improve the physical and mental well-being of others.

A passionate and disciplined performer, Mya was a competitive Irish dancer for 17 years. Throughout her dance career, she proudly represented her school and country on the international stage. Mya had the honor of competing in the Great Britain Championships in England, the All Ireland Championships in Ireland, and as part of the team at the World Championships held in Montreal. In addition to her impressive competitive career, Mya is currently working toward her international teaching certificate to become a Certified Irish Dance Instructor. This certification will allow her to combine her love for dance with her desire to inspire and guide the next generation of dancers.

During the pandemic, Mya created an Instagram account dedicated to empowering young women to embrace fitness and movement as a way to improve mental health. Through this platform, she has encouraged others to stay active, positive, and focused on their well-being—an effort that directly aligns with her studies in physiotherapy assisting and her future dreams of teaching Irish dance. Mya understands the profound connection between physical activity and mental wellness and aims to share this knowledge in both her professional and dance careers.

Outside of her studies and dance, Mya also enjoys spending time as a loyal dog sitter, caring for her four-legged clients. She loves bonding with animals and providing them with the love and attention they deserve.

Mya is excited to bring her spirit, determination, and passion to this pageant journey and looks forward to continuing to make an impact in her community and beyond.
